Style Review
Hundreds of stars walked the red carpet at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night. What a fiesta of glamour, style and elegance it was! I believe the pivotal outfit that stole the night was Rihanna's custom made Azzedine Alaia scarlet dress which was teamed extraordinarily well with Jewellery by Neil Lane and Manolo Blahnik high heels. I love love the colour of the dress, absolutely stunning!
Taylor Swift, Katy Perry and Nicole Kidman also stole the show with their eye catching floor length gowns as they walked the red carpet. Taylor Swift wore a white floaty Marilyn Monroe style inspired silver embellished gown from J. Mendel's S/S 2013 collection. Katy Perry who claims she was inspired by Priscilla Presley's 1960's style for the red carpet wore a mint green gown from Gucci's S/S 2013 collection with leafy beaded embellishment around the collar- Adler Jewellery. Nicole Kidman of course as always brought some Hollywood glamour by wearing an elegant gold embroidered Vera Wang gown.
Other key ensembles that stood out at the awards ceremony last night were Beyonces, Jennifer Lopez and Adele. Beyonce looked crisp in her Geometric outfit. An Osman monochrome jumpsuit, accessorised with a Swarovski clutch and platform sandals. Jennifer Lopez braved the familiar 'Angelina Jolie' look seen previously on the red carpet. J Lo wore a floor length black one shouldered asymmetric gown from Anthony Vaccarello's S/S 2013 collection. The outfit was teamed with gold and black stilleto heels and Norman Silverman diamonds. Adele wore a knee length red and pink floral embroidered dress from the Valentino Couture S/S 2013 collection with matching shoes.
